My Training

My journey to here started with my certification as a Culinary Nutrition Expert, at the Academy of Culinary Nutrition.  The focus of the program was diverse and holistic in nature.  With an emphasis on sound research methodologies and teaching techniques, we were taught how to guide others on their path to wellness and vitality.  Through recipe creation, meal plan design, work shop design and presentation, and health condition research,  the knowledge gained was well rounded and extremely effective.

Following my graduation from the Academy of Culinary Nutrition, I decided to further expand my knowledge, enrolling at the Institute of Integrative Nutrition (IIN).  At IIN the focus was on understanding a wider range of dietary theories (over 100!), incorporating healthful living in a practical manner, and developing strong coaching skills.  We studied with some of the world’s top health and wellness experts, including Joshua Rosenthal, Deepak Chopra, Mark Hyman, Marion Nestle, Joel Fuhrman, Dan Buettner, and David Katz to name a few.

Throughout both of my scholastic endeavors I also worked personally to learn the incredible value of essential oils, which play a large role in my personal healthy lifestyle.  From culinary to topical to aromatic use, the power of these compounds never ceases to amaze me.

My breadth of education has given me a strong base to help support lifestyle changes that are holistic, healthy, and most importantly, personally relevant to you.  By working together you will come to understand what works and does not work for your body, and how to use this knowledge to become your most energetic, balanced, and vibrant self.
